Text entered into EncodeLab tools is processed locally in your browser. EncodeLab does not transmit that input to an application server or store it.
Accounts and analytics
EncodeLab currently has no user accounts, analytics service, advertising scripts, or non-essential cookies.
Theme preference
If you choose light or dark mode, EncodeLab saves that preference in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Hosting logs
Our hosting provider may process standard network information such as IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, and user-agent strings to deliver and protect the website.
Changes
If a future feature changes how information is processed, this policy will be updated before that feature is introduced.
